Want to learn more about timber extraction with horses, but not sure where to start?  Why not sign up to this course   from expert north wales horse logger Barbara Haddrill at Coed Llwynnon on Anglesey?  Barbara tell you more . . .

October 1st – 5th 2019

We are offering our last place of this weeklong course for a 10% discount to Llais y Goedwig members.

It will be a wonderful week to fully immerse yourself in the woods in the lovely Coed Llwynonn on Anglesey.

Over the course of the week you will learn to work with both a single and a pair of horses to bring timber out of the woods, with Molly and Tyler as your experienced four-legged guides.

To allow for one to one teaching we will also be offering other sessions during the course in charcoal making, green wood working and forging.

By the end of the week you could go away with your own swingle tree (the bar that goes behind the horse to pull things) and a bag of charcoal.

Led by Barbara Haddrill of Carnog Working Horses and James Carpenter of Coed Llwynonn, you will learn loads from living the woodland life for a week, either camping in the woods for free or if you need more luxury you can travel in each day.

For more details please contact Barbara directly. No experience necessary.

Contact: Contact Barbara Haddrill direct by e-mailing or phone 07901741217.
