Climate change reader

The Llais y Goedwig Climate Change Reader is an annotated bibliography of papers, reports and advisory leaflets which summarise the science behind climate change and current advice on what our response to this might be.

Topics included in the Reader include:

(a)   Predicted changes to woodland structure and function resulting from climate change in Wales

(b)   Recommendations for enhancing adaptation and resilience of Welsh woodlands and biodiversity

(c)   Contribution of community woodlands to carbon sequestration and as a source of renewable energy and building materials.

The Reader can be purchased on a USB stick for £10 from the Llais y Goedwig office – contact Jo if you would like one. You can also access it online from here:

Adam Thorogood will be undertaking some interviews of community woodland groups to understand more about how we are being affected by climate change. Please contact Adam via the feedback form on the Contact us page if you would like to contribute to this project.

NOTE: We can print out selected publications on request for those who don’t have access to a computer.

The Climate change reader was prepared by Adam Thorogood and supported by a Next Steps grant from Environment Wales.
