Lucy Kew (left), Zena Wilmot (middle) and Beki Price (right) joined the Llais y Goedwig staff team this summer.

Lucy has been managing the new Dewis Gwyllt project since May. This is an exciting new project for Llais y Goedwig researching and promoting the sustainable use of wild woodland products such as wild garlic and bilberry. Lucy is from North Wales and comes from an environmental, community development and arts background.

Zena has just started in the role of Network Facilitator. Zena is based in Mid Wales and has a background in biology, research and social forestry. Her face may look familiar as she has been involved in community woodlands in Wales for more than ten years. Zena joined the Llais y Goedwig team in September and looks forward to linking with old and new friends in the network.

Beki is the new Project Support Officer and is already key to the smooth running of the new ‘Voice of the Woodlands’ project. Beki is from Mid Wales and brings strong administration and finance skills to the role. She is enthusiastic about woodland crafts and activities and will be helping with the programme of events both behind the scenes and on the day.
